BiPAP
BiPAP, or Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure, is a non-invasive ventilation device commonly used in the management of respiratory conditions such as sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other breathing difficulties. It delivers two levels of pressure during the breathing cycle, providing higher pressure during inhalation and lower pressure during exhalation. This helps to maintain an open airway and assist with proper breathing. BiPAP machines are designed to offer personalized airway support and improve ventilation efficiency, especially for patients who may have difficulty exhaling against the pressure used in conventional CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy. They are often prescribed to improve overall respiratory function, enhance sleep quality, and alleviate symptoms associated with respiratory disorders, promoting better overall health and well-being for patients.
